Puerto Galera is known to be one of the 10 most beautiful bays in the world. The amount of macro life per square kilometer is larger than at the famous Great Barrier Reef in Australia. It is not without reason, that Mindoro is the macro paradise of the world!
Puerto Galera is a must for macro photographers!!! If you want to see seahorses, pygmy seahorses, ghostpipe fishes, frogfishes, flying gurnards and of course nudibranches of all sorts, you will find them here.
ABWonderdive is a PADI 5* Dive Resort and is owned by the Danish couple, Alice and Bjørn Askholm. The center is located in the beautiful bay of Small Lalaguna. We offer all level of PADI courses - from entry level up to Dive Master, as well as a wide variety of specialties. At check-in we will give you an overview on our daily programs, special offers besides the formalities of seeing logbook and dive certificate. After an eventful day the ABWonderbar is open to finish off the day in a nice, cozy atmosphere. On a regularly basis we make BBQ with a delicious selection of meats and salads and soon our guests will get used to the comfortable life style in ABWonderdive.
Our perfect organization is rounded off with service at highest level. Guests loading and offloading boats is part of the past – here nobody has to carry their own equipment. After the dives your equipment is washed and hung in ventilated drying rooms.

Hello dive friends!
The yellow fan gorgonian coral by ‘Boulders’ is full of small pygmy seahorses. You better bring your magnifying glass to be able to see them. The mandarin fishes on our house reef are happy breeding, so love is in the air these days.

Regatta seen from Small Lalaguna Bay the 1st of November
Hello everybody!
Here in Small Lalaguna everything is going well, the weather is beautiful, the fishes are jumping and the sky is blue.
On the 31st of October we celebrated Halloween in the dive center. We had a variety of different creative outfits, which meant that we (in some cases) did not even recognize each other. Hello dive friends,
We would like to inform you following regarding the flooding in Northern Luzon.
The airport in Manila is further south of the flooded areas and is not affected; the flights are coming in as normal.
We are based on Mindoro Island, which is 500 km. south of the flooded areas and we have only experienced the outskirts from the tropical storms. This means we have been able to continue diving in our area and still do.
